"Dangal" Review
Friends I saw first day first show Of "Dangal",This film is a biographical sports drama based of the real life of Wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat(Mahavir Singh Phogat is an Indian amateur wrestler and senior Olympics coach. Phogat was awarded the Dronacharya Award by the Government of India),who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari,the story of this film is new and very motivational,insparing which is also giving the message women empowerment,the screenplay of the film is very good which engages the audiance very well,dialogues by Nitesh Tiwari,Piyush Gupta,Shreyas Jain,Nikhil Meharotr are superb as per the demand of the script and they are very near to the reality,even there are some scenes through which audiance connects with the film very easily because they connect those scenes with their life,This is a biographical drama but with lots of light moments which make you laugh and smile,there are many moments in the film where you get emotional and you cant stop ur tears,Camera work of the film is too good and editing of the film is very sharp,background score of the film is perfect and all songs are so different and so good which helps to take the film forward,I am sure you love the songe like "Dangal"(Nicely sung by Daler Mehandi),""Haanikaarak Bapu"(Lyrics are superb),"Gilehriyaan"(Sung very sweetly byJonita Gandhi),"Dhaakad","Naina"etc,Action by Shyam Kaushal is good,In this film Aamir Khan plays the character of Wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and he is mindblowing,his acting,his looks,his dialouge delivery,his walk everything is perfect as per demand of his role in the film,you can see him in different looks and weights,he is playing the role of 25 year guy to 55year old man in the film,no one else can do this role better than Aamir Khan,I am sure he will recieve all the award for his performance in this film,which he deserves,Sakshi Tanwar is so natural in her acting,Fatima Sana Shaikh as Geeta Phogat and Sanya Malhotra as Babita Kumari both are superb in their performances,Anurag Arora,Aparshakti Khurana,Badrul Islam,Vivan Bhatena,Girish Kulkarni,Zaria Waseem as young Geeta,Suhani as young babita all are fantastic in their performances,This Film is Writen & Directed By Nitesh Tiwari and his direction is superb,he knows his work very well,As a film Critic I can gave 4.5/5 to this film,I guess this film will break all the previous records.If you wanna watch a film with good performances,with new story which is inspirational and motovational with the strong message of women empowerment and with all kind of emotions,light moments,relationship than don't miss it,Enjoy
